Warranty Information



Warranty


All hardware provided in conjunction with RapidWarn will carry the OEM warranty.  The siren controller which is manufactured by WeatherMessage, will carry a 2 year warranty (excluding misuse or acts of God).  The PC and peripheral PC components will carry the OEM warranty. This information can be provided upon request.


RapidWarn will provide telephone tech support for up to 30 days after the equipment has been installed.  This 30 day window will expire if the equipment is not installed within 90 days after receipt.  The customer has the option to inform McCord Communications if the install is delayed, thereby extending the 30 day window.


All customers will have access to download patch and bug fixes at no additional cost for the serviceable life of their software.  Additionally, RapidWarn will assist in this process for an hourly rate of $100.00 via telephone support.



Customer’s without maintenance agreements:


All customers will have access to download patch and bug fixes at no additional cost for the serviceable life of their software.  Additionally, RapidWarn will assist in this process for a fee via telephone support.


RapidWarn will provide telephone tech support after the 30 day window has expired for the following rates:          


            Normal business hours (8am-4:30pm EST)--$100.00


            Outside normal business hours: (4:30 pm-8am EST)--$150.00



Customers with maintenance agreements:


All customers with maintenance agreements will receive telephone tech support at no additional cost for the life of their contract.  All customers will have access to download patch and bug fixes at no additional cost for the serviceable life of their software.  Additionally, in version upgrades (Version 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 etc) will be provided to the customer upon request.


The FailSafe application will be provided with all systems upon purchase.  Those with a maintenance agreement will be configured to have the remote FailSafe server monitor each customer’s system for internet connectivity.  This is included at no additional cost.  The customer has the right to refuse this service.


A maintenance agreement is required to be purchased “per machine”.  Multi-year agreements can be purchased up front or the customer can choose to be billed on an annual basis.  Customer will receive notification from RapidWarn 30 days before the contract is set to expire.
